Jacob Arnold

Hello, My Name Is...

<Jacob Arnold>

JA

Dragon Nation, my name is Jacob Arnold and I am literally from all over East Texas (Nacogdoches, Rusk, Cushing, Henderson, Rusk, Jacksonville, Jewitt, Ponta, Bugscuffle, etc.).  I moved around a lot when I was growing up!

A little about me:  I graduated from Rusk High School in 2004, then around a month later I was a member of the US Army, HOOAH!!  I was in the service for nearly 9 years and was able to visit some great places across the world.  Being in the military allowed me to visit many places:  South Carolina, Georgia, Arizona, Missouri, South Korea, Italy, Germany, Austria, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Ireland, as well as a few other places.  After my time in the service I decided to go back to school to become a teacher.  I was able to obtain a Bachelors degree from Stephen F. Austin Sate University, and am currently working on my Masters degree from SFA as well.

I decided to pursue teaching because during my time in the service training Soldiers, I found that I really enjoyed that type of work.  While Students are NOT Soldiers, they are the future of this great nation!  I simply wish to make a positive impact on the next generation.

If you need to contact me please feel free to e-mail me at jarnold@nacisd.org.  Thank you for allowing me to teach your Dragon, and I wish a great school year to you and your child!
